The band just asked who in the audience was from out of town so I raised my hand and said I was from Lawrence, KS. :evilgrin:

Got some dirty looks from the locals. And my KU shirt hasn't gone over too well either.

1. Now of course you realize

that a lot of college sports fans are sufficiently enthusiastic about their school as to not look kindly upon some rivals. Although why simply saying you are from Lawrence should bother anyone in Memphis, I don't know. Shrugs. There's just no pleasing some people is there? I find that here in Santa Fe when I tell people I've recently moved from Kansas they tend to respond quite enthusiastically. Although I still haven't completely gotten over the need to pretend I'm not a liberal Democrat.

Now all we have to do is run Phelps and his clan out of town and it will be a wonderful place to live. (Actually, it is wonderful already, but that would make it so much better!)
