Kline's whine about Tiller acquittal

Wichita abortion doctor George Tiller was acquitted Friday of 19 charges brought as a result of an investigation started by the anti-abortion zealot and former Kansas Attorney General Phill Kline.

Should we be surprised that Kline, a Republican, would lay the blame for the result on the current Kansas AG Stephen Six, a Democrat and abortion rights supporter, whose office prosecuted the case?

Why of course not. Anybody who follows the Kansas abortion battles could have predicted this months ago.

Zealots like Kline are incapable of error. It's always someone else's fault.

So in a case like this, when the jury's findings are contrary to your own, there are only three possibile reasons things turned out the way they did.

1. The jurors are boobs and idiots.

2. The prosecutor was biased and blew the case.

3. Or the judge was biased and/or incompetent.

Kline chose Option No. 2:
