Bank Customer Drops Bag Of Marijuana

SHAWNEE, Kan. -- Police in Shawnee plan on talking to a bank customer who apparently dropped a baggie of marijuana at a bank.

Shortly before 6 p.m. Tuesday, police said, the man walked up to a teller at the Country Club Bank to cash a check.

As he reached into his pocket, a baggie containing pot and rolling papers fell to the ground, police said. The man then left without picking up the items.

Bank employees called police.

Police said they identified the man by surveillance video.

No charges have been filed.

2. Don't drive or do your banking when stoned. Stay home with the
potato chips and a happy movie.

and said to the teller: Sorry about that, my vet wants my dog's stool sample ASAP and I'm going there right after I leave here.

Edit: It's easier to open a new bank account out of shame, than going to the pokie.

14. When I worked at a mall, I was chummy with the security guards
and one of them would bust kids every once in awhile and take their weed. Then we would go into my van during lunch or after shift to smoke it. The kids were so relieved that the cops weren't called and they were let go, they never made an issue of it.

20. Before we had stupid zero tolerance laws in our schools,
there were a couple times my elementary students brought pot to school. Usually they had taken it from an older sibling. One time the kid had accidentally put his brother's pants on and found a bag in his pocket.

I just threw it away. Didn't even report it to the principal.

When the principal found it, she just threw it away. She would have been irritated at me for wasting her time if I had reported it to her.

The time the kid had accidentally worn his brother's pants I called the parent because the kid was afraid his brother was going to beat him up.

Now though we have to call the cops. The zero tolerance laws say we can lose our jobs if we don't call the cops.

I can't tell you how hard it is to turn an 8 or 9 year old kid in for having a joint's worth of pot at school.

We had a big bust at our school last year. A kid brought some seeds.

Stupid drug laws.

19. He would've been at risk of objustructing justice
The marijuana laws are crazy considering alcohol's status. In rehab they give marijuana an honorable mention while focusing on drugs and alcohol. Besides the point, they got cameras and the guy walked away. Also if he would've kept it for himself on camera he would definately run the risk of other charges and his job.

5. There is no better time then the present to legalize pot
or at least leave it up to individual states. I keep waiting for the fed to act on this. Empty the prison s of weed smokers and keep the violent offenders locked up.

13. It is sad. It's going to evidence control and then set on fire in a controlled environment
Unless a cop or someone with access steals it.

I was at a 7-11 and I dug deep into my pockets and and pulled out my bag of weed. The clerk just giggled as I stuggled to get it back in my pocket.
