Bill Curtis for governor?

Kansas Democrats are kicking the tires on a new name that’s surfaced for governor. That’s former CBS newsman Bill Kurtis who resides, at least part time, at his Red Buffalo Ranch in the Flint Hills.

I honestly cannot stand the thought of Governor Brownback. Kurtis still has many ties to Kansas and has, in fact, spent a huge amount of his own money to bring my town back from the brink. He's well-known here and liked, and he'd be a strong candidate in the rural areas of the state. I really wish he had decided to run.
