Dennis Moore on health care reform
In the Johnson County Sun July 9, 2009, Dennis Moore said:

"I certainly want to preserve private insurance companies and I don't want a government-run (health care) program - absolutely not."

1. The Washington voice-mail-box is full, so you'll have to use the Kansas number until
tomorrow.

I told Representative Moore that a Public Option would provide a health care program that is run by the Health Care Providers and those whom they are caring for instead of by Insurance Companies who are making their livings in socialistic jobs programs financed on the backs of the sick and dying.

2. He told the Wy Cos at their 3rd Sat breakfast that he "definitely" favored a public option
That was a month ago.

What happened since then?

4. Dennis tends to play both sides.
He is from a traditional rebug district.

5. Moore apparently supports the public option
Here: http://www2.ljworld.com/news/2009/jul/23/moore-praises-pause-effort-create-new-health-care-/

> During an interview, Moore said legislation should allow people who like their current health insurance plans to keep them.
>
> “If you don’t, and it’s not working, there should be an alternative. That alternative is a public option right now,” Moore said.
