Very close race here. After our whole 3 weeks to put this together we are running a smooth, small, very tired but very pumped team. The vote is tomorrow. Please send us good vibes, it is terribly close. If you know anyone in Topeka please call or e mail them and tell them to vote NO on this ballot initiative (the City of Topeka Question). We need every single vote, this may come down to just a handful that decide it. The other side has had the time, money and people to cover this city with TV, radio and numerous fliers. The lies that are being put out there for the public are many and they are the typical talking points that turn people. "Special interests", "protected class", never any incidence of discrimination, all of those things that put people on edge and without a push towards the truth they often vote incorrectly. So, I thought I would update now since I have not since the original post, every spare minute has been spent working. I will be leaving here in a few minutes and most likely will not be home until this is over tomorrow night. Wish us luck, call your friends. If this passes we are in such trouble here but we now have a cohesive group that is ready for the next 10 years and we WILL be prepared for anything that comes up from now on.
