DFA Campaign Training to be held in Overland Park in April

When DFA first started its Campaign Academy in 2004, George W. Bush was reelected President and Tom Delay was crowing about a supposed "permanent Republican majority."

Six years, 109 training events, and over 11,571 campaign-trained progressives later -- Bush and his cronies are gone and the only damage Tom DeLay has done recently was on "Dancing with the Stars."

But as this last year has shown, we still have lots of work to do. Some may throw up their hands and let this country slide back to Bush-era policies, but DFA members don't give up. We get back to work and fight for the change we believe in. This year we're organizing more training events than ever before and I'm excited to announce our first round of 2010 trainings.
