You know, its just a fuckin shame..I can get really wound up about these idiots that go and buy into buisnesses with no idea what or how they make a product....Onyx did it with Boeing, now Spirit..and Goldmen Sucks is partners with Onyx in the small jet market...Hawker Beechcraft is theirs..

But this is just a crime against the working men and women of this country....These idiots love the cheap labor? Go live in Mexico...I hear they have a lot of action in that country right now. A few years ago they found the headless bodies of 5 or 6 people behind one of the facilitys HBC has down there. Its the audacity of a company, GS, that scewed so many people out of their savings...setting up debt packages and then selling short on their own investors....

Hawker Beechcraft's Wichita facility will not get work from the company's Salina plant, which is closing.

Instead, the company told Machinists union officials that half of the work will go to Hawker Beechcraft's plant in Mexico and the rest will go to outside suppliers and vendors, Steve Rooney, the union's District 70 president, said Monday.

Salina employees — who build wings, spar assemblies and other assemblies — will be told the news this morning, Rooney said.

Hawker Beechcraft employs about 240 people in Salina, down from about 500 a year ago.
