Democratic Party to honor Steve Brown


Hi all,

As you know, KEC board member Steve Brown, who passed away last Friday, was a long-time activist in the Kansas Democratic Party, and co-founded the party's LGBT Caucus. This Friday and Saturday is "Washington Days," the KDP's annual convention.

The party has set aside 15 minutes at the Friday evening banquet in which to honor Steve and his work for equality, and we will again honor Steve at the LGBT Caucus meeting Saturday morning from 8:30am to 9:30am. The cost to attend the Friday banquet is $110; tickets are available online at http://ksdp.org/washingtondays. There is no cost to attend the LGBT Caucus meeting on Saturday morning.
