http://www.whas11.com/topstories/stories/WHAS11_TOP_NorthupMillerPolls.a75dfa51.htmlDemocrat Tony Miller is raising money as he prepares to run television ads in his race to unseat Republican Anne Northup. But the Republicans say they're wondering: Where's Tony?
“I don't know what more we can do,” says Northup’s campaign manager Ted Jackson. “His campaign so far is a stealth campaign.”
But Miller is showing up strongly in the latest exclusive WHAS11 News poll. Incumbent Northup, now in her fourth term, trails with 44 percent of the likely voters contacted by phone, compared to Miller's 48 percent. He's been in office as circuit court clerk for 16 years.
The telephone calls were made Friday, Saturday and Sunday, polling 640 voters from the 3rd congressional district. The margin of error is plus or minus 4 points.

Honestly, Miller is a bit more moderate than I would like, but then again, it looks like we have a real chance at taking this seat in November. Keep in mind, Northup only barely beat Jack Conway in 2002 (I really liked Conway). Could it be possible that this red state will have THREE (that would be half of the representatives) Democratic congressional reps in November? I honestly feel like Chandler is safe to keep his seat (anybody have polling data?) and I know Clooney is in a good position to get his seat, and now, although I wouldn't say district 3 is "in the bag", it looks like we have a pretty good chance at taking it too...
