"Tom DeLay is being targeted in a partisan political attack from Democrats who fear his success in sustaining and adding to the Republican majority in the House," Towhey said.
Davis, elected last November, received $10,000 for his campaign from DeLay, on top of $10,000 for an unsuccessful race in 2002.
