McConnell flying into help smear c andidate

Received an email from the Metro Democratic Club - is there anything nastier than a McConnell or a McConnell backed candidate?


Friends, the Republicans are pulling out the stops to defeat Jody Curry on Tuesday. They have bought radio and TV time, and one ad says that something like "Jody Curry appeared with John Yarmuth, who supports killing babies. Call Jody Curry and ask her if she supports killing babies." What an insult to someone who has spent much of her career providing legal representation to low-income women and children.

Mitch McConnell is flying in to campaign for David Osborne today. Jody couldn't afford to run radio or TV ads. Here is what you can do to help get out the vote in our three Democratic Jefferson County precincts:

1. Join us for visibility walks tonight or tomorrow night (Sun.-Mon.). Wear your Metro Dems T-shirt or Jody Curry T-shirt. We'll have stickers, a few T-shirts, info to provide to the neighbors we meet, and maps. It's Ok and helpful to mention to those you meet that Jody is running as our Democratic candidate.

2. If you can help with phone banking, reply to this email or call me at 894.8340 or 758.1426 and I will get a list of names to you.

3. If you have time on Tuesday, come to the 3 precincts with me and hold up a Jody Curry sign to remind everyone to vote.
