Just rec'd this email thru the yahoo Dem Meet-up Group:
Dear Friends,
In the days since Monday's hurricane, everyday citizens and non-governmental organizations have been the true leaders of the relief effort. In communities throughout the affected area, these grassroots efforts are saving lives.
Among these many efforts, I am passing along information for two efforts in particular that require your assistance. For each, contact information is provided if you have any questions or can assist. As other opportunities arise, I will pass them along.
Best wishes to you and yours during this trying time.
Sincerely,
Jeffrey Thomas
