Hi y'all. I was just thinking about you. I hope everyone here who was affected by Katrina is doing OK. My thoughts have been with you since she struck. I worked at the Houston Disaster Recovery Center all weekend, and it was humbling to see how many people still haven't gotten the assistance they are waiting for.

I know that a lot of people still have not reconnected with missing friends and family, and hopefully a good portion of that is still communication problems from being moved around so much. Due to privacy, I can't release information, but I'd be willing to look up folks and verify if they have registered with my organization. If anyone would like me to check, PM with with the name.

If you personally know someone relocated to the Houston/Galveston area who needs help, let me know. I could try to help, or even just meet up with them as a friend.
