I SHOULD be PLAYING music with all my friends on Frenchman! Let's hope this continues into next month. I tried to get "Peace Sundays" going at Café Brazil (before the Iraq invasion) but not enough people wanted to get involved.

4. I WAS WRONG ABOUT THE HQs BEING OPEN!

I guess we can just consider this to be unconfirmed. I received an email with the address and I just assumed that meant it was open. Then today I get this email from Mr. Blum and he says, "As far as I know, the permanent New Orleans HQ isn't in place yet although I
understand it's coming very soon"

Man I wish they'd hurry up already. We've been hearing that "very soon" stuff for weeks!

Mr. Blum also says, "Come to the Kerry Crescent meeting Thursday at 7 pm at the New Orleans Fire Fighter's Union Hall; 329 S. Dorgenois, in New Orleans. They announce volunteer projects coming up."

Is that the same d. blum who gave piano concerts at the church on Jackson between st. Charles and the river? who was a student newspaper editor? Smart guy, glad he is on our side.

8. OKAY....no shit this time!! It's OPENING TODAY!

It is 3300 Canal Street, Suite 100. The office is open for
volunteers to come in and pick up material. However, the phones and
computers will not be set up until Wednesday or later next week.
