John Meyer died after trailer blast, Linda got a new trailer now

A Slidell man whose FEMA trailer exploded last week died Wednesday after a six-day struggle with severe burns and other injuries from the blast, which was triggered by a propane gas leak.

John Meyer, 49, suffered second- and third-degree burns over much of his body in addition to irreparable damage to his heart, liver and kidneys, which led to organ failure, relatives said.

He was flown to a burn unit at Baton Rouge General hospital shortly after the April 12 accident, where he remained until his death.



There are pictures of Linda on NOLA today, she got another trailer, is in the same site. I can't make a clickable link, here is all I can figure out. I hope the best for her now. What a thing to have to have gone through.
