A very dear friend of mine moved to New Orleans in 2000. He is a huge supporter of local artists and an all around extremely cool guy. He owns L'Art Noir 4108 St. Claude Ave (between Mazant & France) He and his wife were involved in post Katrina relief efforts. He was partners with his wife in an activist group. They were at Camp Casey with Cindy Sheehan. If you were in NO around Katrina or Camp Casey before Katrina it's possible you met them. He is in real trouble. He hasn't been able to recover from Katrina, his wife left, his insurance company is jerking him around, and he's about to lose everything he owns; which is a travesty considering how hard he fought to stay in NO. If you can help in any way, that would be awesome. If nothing else maybe locals could give a little moral support....
