Louisiana released a customized version of Google Earth today, which includes numerous layers/data sets about the state. The program is a customized version of Google Earth, which accesses a database maintained by the state, instead of the usual Google databases. You can read about it/download it for free here:
http://www.gohsep.la.gov/laearth.aspxIf you are already a Google Earth user, I would uncheck the box during the installation which offers to uninstall your current version of GE. That way, it will separately install this version, which is set to access the La. database directly.
Be sure to check 'imagery' in the layers, or else you'll just see a black screen in the viewer.
Note that this database only includes imagery/data on Louisiana and other than very old, low res imagery coloring in the rest of the planet, has no other data.
