Of those casting absentee ballots, 94,732 voters are white, 16,703, black and 3,059 of other races. As far as party breakdown, there were 56,949 Democrats, 43,199 Republicans and 14,346 other-party or no-party voters.
More females than males voted absentee -- 58,336 females to 56,158 male.
Big-population parishes led the way when it came to numbers of absentee votes cast.
