This election is too important to sit on the sidelines. If you are taking the time to read this post then you are a committed Democrat (or a GOP spy - don't forget to vote November 8) and we need your help. Even if only for an hour or two, please give that time between now and November 7 to help. The polls say Baldacci, Allen and Michaud are way ahead, but we know better than to trust polls. TABOR is on the ballot and every seat in the Legislature is up for grabs. Imagine a state with Chandler Woodcock in the Blaine House, a GOP Legislature rolling back every initiative we've worked for in the past and TABOR destroying our local communities. I just returned from South Dakota and I can tell you first hand what happens to a state when the conservative wingnuts and the religious wrong take over a government. Believe me when I say that we do not want to taste that bitter pill. You have the power to prevent that from happening. It's not enough just to vote anymore. This election is going to be too close. Some races will be won by dozens of votes - maybe even less. Please volunteer whatever time you can to help Democrats keep control in Augusta and keep moving Maine forward.
