Topsham Democrats meet tomorrow: Tax relief is the topic. All Dems are invited. |
|
"The Topsham Democratic Committee is pleased to announce that Representatives Thom Watson of Bath and Dick Woodbury of Yarmouth will present ideas for tax relief for the citizens of Maine at the committee meeting on Sunday, September 23. They will discuss past proposals as well as thoughts for future legislative efforts. The meeting will be at Border Trust on Main Street from 4 - 6pm. All local Democrats are encouraged to attend to learn more about this vital topic."
Any local Democrats are welcome to come and participate in the discussion with Representatives Watson and Woodbury. Unless tax relief is passed by the Legislature and signed by the Governor, it is very likely we are going to see a TABOR initiative to muddy the waters in the 2008 election.

the stir and churn tactics often are an agenda to keep some people employed! In this case I can think of three who have benefited by it.

Put in a plug for the caucus, while you're at it. :)
