cranberries

I wonder how many mainers have ever picked wild cranberries. I miss picking them for myself
and the family. I'M sure that the patch in alexander is still yielding a good crop. I found that this area was full of wild game.
strange how the good memories of years past come out at xmas time. If you have children this
is a great way to show them nature's way.

1. I picked 4 quarts for the holidays
There are a lot of small cranberry operations in the state - mostly U-pick - and lots of good picking in the marshes (if you know where to go)

Edited on Wed Nov-28-07 04:53 AM by luckyleftyme2
well why don't you pay my back dues, its only a few bucks. it's a lot like the national rifleman assoc. after you pay your dues they keep sending you requests for more money.
but than you got all the ans. so far I haven't been right about a lot of things. like Pete for gov. or woodcock for gov. or Hughes, or the right wing think tank.
but one thing is for sure your def. the answer to maine's problems, we just can't seem to find a birth control for selective breeding to cure the problem.
have a nice day, whitehouse, senate, house in 08!

my bet is your a transplant!

5. But...
you said you were a "STANDING MEMBER OF THE MENSA CLUB". Now you say that you owe back dues. Hard to believe you on anything once you're caught in a lie. Just look at GWB.

6. ACTUALLY

I qualified years ago,but like so many never pursued it. and like so many more it never mattered that much. but if your so inteligent why are you trying to disprove it? you must be a member of the right think tank. you know the one who slam dunked the tabor, introduced peter as the next gov. ,woodcock, huges in lewiston etc .etc.
I would be embrassed to have been so wrong so many times and still claim to be a working think tank.
now one of the greastest tools the right has is to divide the left. many of the national threads in this and other forums is to attack and divide the local forums,
print me something that will convince me your a real democrat! opps that may be asking you to lie!

9. Huh
Qualifying years ago and never pursuing it makes you a "STANDING MEMBER" in your mind.

Why am I trying to disprove it? I take exception to you giving Mensans AND Democrats a bad name with your insane ramblings and inane gas price updates.

7. sorry j pak

I'M sure this will go on the closer it gets to election time. first it was my capitals in the old wpor threads, then it was I didn't know anything about clear cutting, then it was a number of
state endeavors that people like keims, billings, stone and a few others never dirtied there hands but knew all the spoon fed rhetoric.
nuff:
back to cranberries they are just starting to find so many new ways to market them, one of these new ways is mixed with other fruit jucies. MMMMMMM DELICIOUS.
I ALSO SEE YOU HAVE HAD A RUN IN WITH SHOREBOUND,HE MEANS WELL HIS ONLY PROBLEM IS HE THINKS NO ONE ELSE CAN USE THE COMPUTER: WE NEED ALL SORTS OF ALTERNATIVE METHODS OF ENERGY,AND WE CAN NO LONGER AFFORD TO HAVE TUNNEL VISION.ANY METHOD STALLED WILL ONLY MEAN A LONGER RELIANCE ON FOSSIL FUEL.
WIND,TIDAL,SOLAR AND CROPS WILL INCREASE DAILY. AND WE WILL DO WELL TO LEARN FROM OTHER NATIONS WHO ARE AHEAD OF US.
OH BY THE WAY I STILL POST IN OTHER FORUMS.
