PORTLAND, Maine -- Massachusetts Sen. Edward Kennedy is headed to Maine to stump for Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama.

The Obama campaign said Kennedy will speak Friday afternoon at Bates College in Lewiston. He's also scheduled to make a stop at a senior center in Portland.

Hillary was extremely impressive! It's obvious that she has an extremely strong understanding of every aspect of government. Plus she's strong on issues that I care about like health care, kids, veterans, energy, global warming, etc., etc. She also did an excellent job fielding a question about restoring our constitutional rights! I have to say that she reinforced my confidence that she is fully ready to lead us in the crisis and rough times ahead! I can now call myself an enthusiastic supporter of Hillary! BTW she also said that she fully intends to involve my guy John Edwards in her administration. I am looking forward to caucusing for her tomorrow!

5. Just got back from Bangor.
I am so tired. Waited outside for 4 hrs and then more inside. I can't tell you how impressed I am with Obama. He speaks logically and thoughtfully. It was packed there- every seat taken. I was on the floor right in front of the stage.
Going to settle the kids down now, poor hubby has been with them all day :)
