Gov. John Baldacci has endorsed Clinton and Maine Democratic Party chairman John Knutson and vice-chairwoman Marianne Stevens have endorsed Obama, who won Maine's Democratic caucuses in February.
U.S. Reps. Tom Allen and Michael Michaud and Democratic National Committee members Jennifer Dechant and Sam Spencer remain uncommitted.
The uncommitted superdelegates cannot predict when they will decide, but they want the primary fight to end by June and to pick the candidate who can win in the fall.
The four Mainers are among 200 uncommitted superdelegates around the country.
"A large number are waiting when the race reaches that tipping point, a number of (superdelegates) will move to the candidate who looks to be the strongest candidate and close this thing out," said Tad Devine, a Democratic strategist who helped write party rules governing delegate selection.
When that will happen is anyone's guess.
