I VOTED FOR BARACK TODAY RIGHT HERE IN MAINE !
I cast my absentee ballot today for Barack and all Dems on the ticket. ANYONE can do it ! Go down to your local town clerk and get an absentee ballot. Or, go through the Obama website, print out an application for a ballot, and send it in. All the info. is right there. MAN, IT FELT GOOD TO VOTE FOR THE NEXT PRESIDENT TODAY !!

1. I voted the other day
It does indeed feel good. I did it at the town hall.

Here's a link to the Sec of State's Absentee Ballot page. http://www.maine.gov/cgi-bin/online/AbsenteeBallot/index.pl

If you live in one of these towns you can even request the absentee ballot online.

2. I did not know you could do that. I gave my car away and have
been worried about how to get to the polls. I figured my land lady votes so I could either get a ride from her or call and see if they had free rides. heck I would even pay to go vote.

3. See above post and you can get an absentee application off the internet.
Send it to your local town/city office, and you can vote by absentee/mail. Easy as pie.

4. I know you are right but frankly I want to go to the polls.
My first vote was for Ike and I have voted every years since and it feels right to go to a building and do it. I see it as next time,if I am still here, it will be voting by mail.

6. Izzie, the campaign staff in York can give you a ride to vote
Their number is 363-9270. Not knowing where you are in York County, I know they can get your request to the right field office.

5. I voted at my town hall today.
Picked up my husband's ballot for him to fill out after work tonight. I'll drop it off tomorrow for him.
