New poll for Maine: Obama at 51%, Allen way behind, Pingree appears ahead
Obama: 51-39, 10% undecided
Allen: 36-57, 7% undecided
Pingree: 43-32, 25% undecided (margin of error is outrageous 6.8%)

Question 1 will probably pass
Question 2 will probably fail

I was hoping Pingree would have a more obvious lead at this point. I don't see how people could go into the booth and mark Obama, but then vote for a Bushie like Summers (or Collins, for that matter.) Allen's campaign has been so disappointing.

1. I am terribly frustrated about Allen's trailing behind.

2. One positive trend for Allen
From the SUSA poll:

"The one ray of sunlight for Allen is the 14% of respondents who report that they've already voted. Allen is winning this group by 5 points (with a higher margin of error)."

3. I voted early and for Tom, but his campaign has been SHITTY !
Tom has run a weak, unfocused, un-energetic, wishy washy campaign. He has been gloves off with Collins. He has failed to connect in the 2nd district. He allowed himself to be THOROUGHLY defined by the card-check liars without hitting back hard and fast. His ads have sucked. His message has been watery. He spend WAY too much time talking to safe groups of friendly Dems instead of Indys and moderate R's at the local coffee shops and supermarkets. And on and on and on. Just sooooooo disappointing. It could have been done, but he's going to lose bad because his campaign has been BAD ala Dukakis '88.
