TABOR? Really?

Why is there so much money being spent on TABOR ads? Folks, newsflash: it's not gonna pass. Why are we dumping so much cash on this when it could be focused on Q1?

I have not talked to anyone who is voting for it. I'll be surprised if even it gets 35% this time around.

3. Well, good polls certainly have merit. BUT, the tide is moving against TABOR AGAIN. WE CAN WIN !!

First, good scientific polling has a great deal of merit. That is reality, plain and simple. Some polling firms and methods are better than others, but with the proper models and procedures they are generally quite accurate which has been proven again and again for decades. Also though, some time has passed since this last poll. And remember, YES ON TABOR had been a whopping 30 to 40 points ahead over the summer. This last poll had it down to 14 points ahead with the trend moving rapidly in the NO ON TABOR direction now with the ads out in full force and an active campaign, AGAIN, against it.
I myself have now phone banked for NO ON TABOR eight times. I will do several more days. Firefighters are phone banking and going door to door in many towns all around the state. Unions and other coalition partners are helping. If we kick it into very high gear, we can beat this god damn right wing scumbag thing down once and for all. Turnout is key for this and NO ON ONE. It being an off year cycle and too many Mainers still not understanding TABOR are the very scary factors. But there are hundreds of good Mainers working to beat this, and if we don't work VERY hard over the next week and a half this scary, shitty thing may very well pass. And then we are SCREWED royal. NO ON ONE has a huge campaign and it is important, but it is NOT the only important question for Mainers to consider. Other issues are important too, especially this one.

I urge you all to VOTE NO ON TABOR (Question #4), spread the word to family, friends, co-workers, etc., and if you can spend even one hour phonebanking they are doing it in Lewiston, Portland, Bangor, Old Town, and Augusta. Go to VoteNoOnTABOR.org. THANKS !!
