This guy is nuts and is not good with language. In Saturday's televised debate, LePUKE said he wanted to "put the state in reverse" (because he said things were not going in the right direction). Yeah, he wants to take it in "reverse" alright. BACK to ultra-trickle down. BACK to teaching the bible in the public schools. BACK to back-alley abortions. BACK to polluted rivers. BACK to where GLTB folks are treated like second-class citizens. BACK to nuclear power plants instead of alternative energy. BACK to where global warming is called a "mind control tool."
And the list goes on and on.

He also said he thinks investment bonds are "just like taxes." Could he be any more stupid?
These bond issues finance important public improvements and create thousands of jobs. They are often federally matched with reasonable interest and plenty of time to pay them off after great dividends. LePUKE is ridiculous.

(Please work hard for Dems, and write letters to the editor slamming LePUKE.)

1. But wait, there's more...
LePage tells Obama to "go to hell"

Full 8+ minute version here. Personally I couldn't stomach watching the whole thing, but am including it for the purpose of showing full context. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5KYwIDGG9zU

Speaking of Gubernatorial candidates, WGME in today's noontime broadcast (in addition to the LePage story) had this to say about Kevin Scott...

Gubernatorial candidate has 35 traffic violations

Our media partners at the Lewiston Sun Journal are reporting that independent candidate for governor Kevin Scott has been convicted of 35 motor vehicle violations.
According to the Maine Secretary of State's office, Scott has had his driving privileges suspended 21 times. His 10 year record includes five speeding tickets, including one for driving 94 in a 65, and one from April of this year for doing 50 in a 25.
