WASHBURN — Hundreds of protesters booed and screamed “Recall Walker!” as a law enforcement motorcade escorted Gov. Scott Walker to a Republican Party fundraiser at the Steak Pit restaurant on Saturday evening. The Lincoln Day Dinner drew in roughly 275 Republican Party members from the surrounding area, including Congressman Sean Duffy. Crowd estimates of the rally ranged from 500 to 2,000 people protesting the recent elimination of collective bargaining rights for public employees.
