the recently passed enviormental waste bill

the legislature just passed a bill that could pass on costs to busines. Of course those "amg" folk are screaming their thick heads off! I find it amusing to go into their forum and see the same posters daily whining away at nothing they can change.
where were they when the bill was past? of course on the golf course,on the puter,or in a coffee shop spewing their useless take on politics.(a few were counting their money)
this is one person I respect that posts their often;(although I seldom on the same side of the fence;he at least thinks before he posts)

Editor: You are correct that the idea is kept alive. If we had the votes to kill it that would have been the thing to do. But the votes were not there.

The reality is that the general public in Maine does not share the AMG view of environmental policy. Starting fights on environmental legislation that will have no real impact is not a good political strategy for the GOP. Republicans need to focus on the issues where the public is on our side. There were no votes to be won on this one. If we take the majority in either house and the legislation comes forward nexr year, we can kill it then.
the editor is a well known xxxx right fielder!
