Well from my point of view -F is not far enough down the scale for the new guv. and his crew! with milty -nockett shut down ( the regional employer and job producer) easily will effect over 2,000 jobs. and how many others have we seen close their doors? Killing the min. wage increase pretty much should kill their base making less than $80,000 a year. How can anyone in this state survive with an average of a 2% wage if any when gas has doubled, heating oil has doubled, groceries are increasing weekly and workers share of health costs are getting out of reach.(they can't) When every new identity in our neighborhood is put through the hoops till the right grubby hands get their hands in the pie. this often creates a huge debt for the new entity which they often cannot survive. (the shell game guess who picks up the property) you don't think so hmmm think about the last time some new business tried to start up that you thought would be Nice for your town. hmmm can't think of one- how bout micky dees in brigton! hmm how bout some of the stores in the bangor mall! hmmm how bout the maine mall complex? (why did it take less than 3 months from the time I did the original survey till the construction of the exit to the maine mall and payne road was constructed?) It happens in every aspect of maine daily! open your eyes!
