RESPONSE TO PEOPLE'S VETO EFFORT EXCELLENT. PLEASE HELP !
My own experience gathering signatures for the referendum on repealing the BAD new law that ended same-day voter registration has been OUTSTANDING. I have gone door to door with one single refusal to sign the petition, and this is across the political spectrum of Dems, R's, and Indies. EVERYONE hates this silly new law and wants to restore same-day registration in Maine. It is among the most satisfying campaigns I've ever worked on due to this consensus.

PLEASE HELP GATHER SIGNATURES. Just go to ProtectMaineVotes.com and/or contact the Maine Democratic Party and/or contact your nearest office of the Maine People's Alliance. It is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO easy. EVERYONE is signing. But we need boots on the ground. Please help. Please spread the word. THANKS !

1. I meant "withOUT one single refusal." I have had 100% participation on the signatures I've gotten.

2. I grew up in Maine and have always praised Maine as a great
place for the citizen initiated petition process. It works and gives the average person on the street the ability to promote change on issues that he/she believes in. Now how it will work with LePage in office I don't know. Good luck in your efforts RBInMaine.

4. I wish I could help by I live in Oklahoma now.
I live with my own house of horrors here. There are more rational people in Maine then there are in Oklahoma. I was sorry to see someone like LePage become Governor of Maine. I never thought that I would see the day when Maine would would elect someone that could give some of our politicians a run for their money in who would rate the worst.
