well they got a new owner;an hopefully the 250 jobs estimated by the new company by the end of oct. will become a reality! not 450 that lost their jobs but a good start! kudos to them if they succeed!
this town is a jewel for those of us who love the outdoors;gateway to mount katahdin and Maine's outback " baxter park"!
I have found that the locals appreciate our influx of money into their economy an often will volunteer information about road,trails,accommodation's and places to pickup things you forget to pack!
