It seems the border patrol made a raid on a westbrook restaurant and found illegals working there.
well I for one am glad they finally got of their butt and acted. Of course I checked out the other forum and see the expected response from the mid -income sheeple!
here is one and kind of tells ya how they think(if its in my arena its ok but if the left does it jail them)

well since your such a bitter person not only were they knowingly using illegals they were paying them in cash(under the table,one of the biggest reasons its so hard to know how many illegals we have in this country and 98% of American's want this practice stopped)
they pay no taxes on this an neither does the restaurant owner(tax evasion)!
I say make an example out of them and put a judge on that case who will enforce the law to the limit.
I don't care if he knows the governor, I care that he thinks because he runs a business he is above the law! Nowhere have I seen a law that says a business has a license to steal!
They hired these people strictly for monetary purposes,avoided taxes (stole from you and me,our taxes go up for every business that practices this. but they also evaded taxes not just the employees! and yes I think their is a hell of a lot of this going on in our state! and I think its time we cracked down on businesses practicing this deployable ,despicable practice! how about refusing them a license to own a business in maine for a start.
as far as our governor goes he's irrelevant in the case!

I just got this from the infamous forum; and of course I couldn't resist! you see I owe her several!!!
perhaps your tax burden would lessen if you used your influence on the gov.(what influence)
Or perhaps you could talk your fellow business acquaintance's to make sure they claimed all their revenues! this might put more in the tax coffers!
