Occupy Maine protests continue

PORTLAND, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- Occupy Mainer protesters in Portland's Monument Square say they are in this fight for the long haul and desperately seeking changes in the way our country is run as their demonstration stretches into its second week.

"We're showing our desperation for the change," explained Christopher Schisler, who has been a daily fixture in the city's center. "We're showing our desperation, we are showing our passion, and that is all we are doing."

Schisler says the group has been watching what is going on at other demonstrations throughout the country, but says members of Occupy Maine have no intentions of inciting riots ...
