Iguess this is highway day

Maine is a large state with a small population which is good and bad. It is nice to have room to roam but it is also costly in highway or other transportation travel. The east west
connector has been discussed many times but never funded. we basically have an interstate system running from kittery to houlton which will eventually extended. In the mean time we have rte#9(the airline) which connects to rte# 1 in Barring.(roughly 90 miles) this road has heavy truck traffic 24/7 and really should be up graded to a 4 lane highway.
If we had built 5 miles a year on this one highway since this idea was first floated it would be built now. I might add that back then we were building the interstate for an average of a million dollars a mile!(not including bridges) I'm not sure what the going rate is now
but every year we put it off it is going to raise the price. I'm sure this would create jobs, start many or enlarge many small businesses ! and bring out the nay sayers for sure!
but ya know its your maine and we out number the pr-cks!
call your local news paper, selectman, legislature and tell those professional nay sayers to kiss your ass we want it ,we need it and we need jobs!
