Funny this post was started .Yesterday while driving with my 30 something daughter who lives out of state. We passed by a typical Maine roadside scene of two DOT trucks and some DOT employees. They were repairing one of those small informational signs, two holding the pole and one apparently tightening the nuts.... my daughter said "is that for real?" Makes one wonder with the lack of snow to plow how many man hours are we the taxpayers footing the bill for on make work projects. In the private sector when there's no work employees just get sent home..... Any bets that's not happening at the DOT?? you know where this came from -"the rhino dumbest forum" I wonder if this lard ass ever done a day's work in his life? if he did you know he bitched about his pay while he shifted the burden onto his fellow workers! I seen this idiots that had daddy or mommy's money left to them and for the most part their useless! I would like to clear up a few things -the plow drivers work straight time! it is not unusual for them to have 100 hour weeks! yes they keep them on year round!(the reason they tried it the other way it didn't work) ever work in a paper mill ? if your sitting on your ass on a paper machine the company is making money-they don't send you home! look on the bright side you idiot-the salt and sand ,the truck use and up keep your saving means you could have a 100 drivers standing around cuz ur savin money! even a fool like fish can understand that! of course its knit work -but it's work that has to be done! fools and their back biting are a dime a dozen -I'm a former public works director and a former state dot engineer -my wish is that your snow plow driver reads this and lifts his blade in your area until you plow or shovel out then he buries your thankless butt!
