who really interprets the law? |

the interpretation of law seems to be open for discussion in Maine! Apparently there seems to be several explanation to any law! Take for instance the new texting law and the decision that it could be construed that a police officer in a car stopped beside the road and using his computer to send or get information is breaking the law! Now we are going to adjust the law to exclude them? However... the tree growth law says that any 10 acres of forest land qualifies providing it could be harvested! In other words it should show growth with eventual products to be harvested ! In other words if we are in power we can avoid a legal interpretation(prevent an inquiry) example "why pick on me when their are hundreds using this tree growth plan!" hmmm maybe because your lot was already questionable? And what does hundreds of other lots have to do with your lot? If I,m caught for speeding does that mean they have to challenge every driver? don't think so! If in a random road block my sticker ran out does that mean they have to check every car in the state of Maine? Naw in your mind only the other 61% who are now 71%! hmm I think I'll end this cuz Bud your doing us a big favor! Your making more liberals everyday!

We screamed loud enough that they now have to bring it before the courts!hmmm we know it's going to be fair because their is no restrictions being set;like only three questions may be asked? hmm that would make the outcome questionable wouldn't it if such a rule was implied? hmmm I wonder if a state forester still has to ask permission to inspect certain large landowners woodlots? hmmm the 50's all over again!
