Weird

I saw on one of the news channels my mom was watching...
A segment about a strange animal sighting I think it was in clinton Maryland.
This guy filmed a creature that looks sorta like a coyote, sorta like a hyena, sorta like a dog with a bad case of mange.
But this critter is cute in a funky kinda way, with a little mane on his head and sholders like a short mowhawk hairdo. It was cute as anything,and it didn't really look like just a dog it's jaws were different than a cat's or a dog's jawline...it's tail was too long and slender ,too catlike. it's backend seemed to have very short velvety fur if any fur at all,
Anyone have any more information on this critter,or a photo perhaps? The people who say this critter hangs out near their houses are calling it a hyyote...

I'm glad no one is trying to capture it,'test' it or paint it into a monster. I think it's wonderful that a weird creature can be seen filmed and respected without people trying to catch it,tame it or cage it for profits or display..
The hyyote seems to be a peaceful creature, it gets along with the dogs and cats,and doesen't threaten anyone. He /she just pilches some cat food sometimes and takes romps in backyards during the day in the sun.
People could learn alot from this critter if they'd do as he does,live and let live.
