Great day for Dem's. MD-Sen and MD-Gov Polls inside!
Edited on Tue Oct-25-05 08:31 AM by nickshepDEM
Gozales Research Poll:

MARYLAND GOVERNOR
O’Malley 48%
Ehrlich 42%

Duncan 45%
Ehrlich 44%

This poll was done October 17-21 among 815 registered voters.

No primary polling, which sucks because the primary is going to be closer than everyone thinks.
---------

MARYLAND SENATE
Cardin 47%
Steele 38%

Steele 42%
Mfume 40%

Like the gubernatorial poll, this poll was done October 17-21 among 815 registered voters.

The owner and president of Gonzales research used to be president of Mason Dixon.

1. the primary poll
would show O'Malley up by about 25 points right now. Primary polls this early are useless as they really just judge name id.

4. Is there anyway
We could get a breakdown of this poll by gender, race, party affiliation, etc, etc.

7. Well Cardin and Mfube have the name id
Mfube is just unpopular. Personally, I don't want Cardin to get the nod. I want it to go to Lichtman.

Once the election race heats up, his numbers will go up.

8. $$$ is the key factor in whos numbers go up, down, and remain the same.
Cardin is cutting off all the other candidates money supply. Licthman will be lucky to break 10% in the primary.

I have no problem with everyone voting their heat in the primary, but come general election time... Lets all remember who the enemy is and what we need to do to keep this U.S. Senate seat.

9. It's good to see Cardin so far in front so early. I support the..
strongest Democrat in the race.

6. Thanks for posting this info
I check this forum every day for info on the governor's race. I so hope Erhlich is defeated! And I so hope that a Democrat replaces Sarbanes.

10. What's the issue with Mfume - I would think he would be a good choice
since yes, the race card would be an issue with Steele on the ticket.
