2005 Fundraising and Cash On Hand
From the Baltimore Sun:

Governor Ehrlich: $4.6 million raised in 2005. $8.4 million cash on hand.

Mayor O'Malley: $4.3 million raised in 2005. $4.19 million cash on hand.

MoCo Exec. Duncan: $1.3 million raised in 2005. $1.36 million cash on hand.

Ehrlich's fundraising numbers are impressive, but look for O'Malley (and Duncan) to catch up while the legislature is in session. Both can raise funds during the session while Ehrlich will be sidelined until April.

1. But Wal-Mart will give $$$ to the Gov & rethugs
in order to get a legislature that will overturn the health coverage law next year.

We have to get ready to do some major fund-raising for the Maryland Dems this year.
