Even still, I'm glad it's in the news.

I don't quite understand his quote though, "I made an inappropriate inference, and I apologize for that." Which of the idiotic things he said did he mean was wrong, or was "inference" not the word he meant to use?

Steele knew exactly what he was doing when he made this comparison.
