Why on earth are they being so stubborn about sticking to Diebold machines here after the disastrous primary election?
Today's WaPost had a story about Maryland's head of elections, Linda Lamone, who is a Democrat and who is sticking like glue to her precious Diebold cheating machines. And Senate President Mike Miller is firmly behind her. And of all things, the Rethug governor is worried that he could be Diebolded out of office in November.
I'd be happy to see Ehrlich voted out, but not by manipulating votes electronically.
RFK Jr. just wrote another article for Rolling Stone about the hazards of e-voting. For heaven's sake, he is the brother of Kathleen Kennedy Townsend, the Democratic nominee for governor four years ago, who got whupped by Ehrlich. Shouldn't Maryland Dems at least be listening to him?
Move-On has a campaign going to get people to call Miller and Dem. House Speaker Michael Busch to get them to support paper ballots. I called both of their offices.
Frankly I am so fed up and embarrassed by the attitude of Maryland's Dem leaders that I might work for Menendez in NJ, my home state. My husband, who is a precinct co-chair, is ready to resign over this.
