1. Just watched the debate
O'Malley did well, kept his cool and his humor. I realize I am biased, but Ehrlich seemed pretty snippy about the whole thing. Waaaah! Mr. crankypants Ehrlich should turn that frown upside down!

2. Watched and another biased
opinion but I also thought O'Malley did well. Beyond the normal whining from Ehrlich he failed to follow directions and talked over Koch if he didn't want to stop. If he listened as well to O'Malley's people about debates as he did during the debate no wonder he thinks O'Malley didn't show up. Sorry Gov. no one jumps just because you say jump and they shouldn't be expected too.

Also if I lived in Baltimore and paid income/property/sales and other state taxes there I would be pissed at Ehrlich. When he said they wouldn't exist without him like Baltimore is the only place that gets a cut of state money and doesn't have anyone contributing to state funds? Give me a break.

3. O'Malley was embarrassing
And the way you put "I know I'm biased" shows you probably agree with me. It's okay. You see around Baltimore a lot of "Another Democrat for Ehrlich" and you wonder what's wrong with these people, but the alternative is a crooked career politician who will stop at nothing to get higher in his political aspirations. Ehrlich is right about O'Malley fooling around with Baltimore crime statistics, as the local news report: http://www.thewbalchannel.com/news/7056945/detail.html.

I don't expect or hope too many Democrats will vote for the pro-business Ehrlich. But I hope they don't vote O'Malley. He's a naked emperor with a condescending smile and destructive agenda. If he's the Democratic hope this country has no future.

And if you want embarrassment, let's talk about how the country was attacked on November 11th.

4. You're embarrassing for perpetuating right wing talking points.
And actually I havent seen nearly the # of Another 'Democrat' for Ehrlich stickers in 2006 that I saw in 2002. Your crime statistics link is out of date too. The Washington Post and WBAL-TV have fact checked those claims time and time again, and the result are always the same - NO EVIDENCE. They've even criticized Ehrlich's campaign ads for invoking these lies.

And for you to criticize him for a simple gaffe yet give Ehrlich a free pass on all of his gaffes. Makes me question your motives for being here.

5. You are selling your BS to the wrong audience
I am biased because I like and respect Martin O'Malley and Bob Ehrlich is an under-performing career politician with no plan and no ethics, just like his illustrious leader the GWB. Martin O'Malley not only won the debate, there was no contest. Ehrlich was shrill, petty, took no responsibility for his actions or lack thereof. I will give him credit, he knows how to pass the buck and his proficiency in this was well demonstrated.

There is no such thing as a Democrat for Ehrlich. I have seen so many Democrat for Ehrlich stickers accompanied by a W'04 oval, it would be funny if it were not so sad. I have, however, personally met many Republicans supporting Martin O'Malley because at least he a vision and it is not the short-sighted, narrow vision that Ehrlich and so many other Republicans suffer with.

So please, don't come on this site spewing lies and propaganda designed to undermine our Democratic Candidate and the next Governor of Maryland, Martin O'Malley. It won't work and only serves to out you as a spoiler.

6. I know I am biased because I
can't stand Ehrlich. I was sick and tired of his whining about slots the first year he was in office. First he had one of the worse written bills ever then whines when it doesn't pass. When he refused to consider putting slots on the ballot in 2004 and let the people of MD vote on it I decided he didn't care what we thought.

I deal with a lot of lower income people on a daily basis, doubling registration fees has pushed quite a few over the edge. I do not live in an area with public transportation. If you don't have a car you don't have a job. Not all low income families live in Baltimore or have access to public transportation.

He wants to pick on O'Malley for his crime statistics but what about where I live. We went from 1 attempted murder in 5 years to at least 7 this year with a couple of them being murders. Can't blame O'Malley for that one. I'm next to Harford County, notice they have a lot more violence than normal too. Check out the last year of news there. B&E's and other crime is also way up here. You don't even want to get me started the rise in drunk driving crashes and deaths here. Less MSP presents has had a detrimental effect on all our roads. Though will give MSP kudos for trying to do more with less and at least trying to patrol the deadliest roads more often.

I work at a college and have seen the students that have had to cut their course load in half or quit because they couldn't afford the rate increases. We spend triple the amount of time we used to helping to find scholarships to keep these kids and adults in school. On the other side we are getting more students that left or put off going to a University and are starting at a Community College so they can at least get an AA degree. At least they do have a good college to get a start at but we are dealing with major budgets cuts while offering services to more students.

While the flush tax doesn't bother me a lot of people in my county are livid over it. They use septic systems and don't feel like they should pay for other city or counties water systems so they can get bigger.

I could care less about the ICC as long as they don't raise the toll to get into my county to pay for it. It is bad enough we got hit with a higher toll so that the Wilson Bridge could be replaced. That bridge is on the opposite end of the state from us. The least they could of done was have to toll on the south bound side and hit people going into the rest of MD instead of people heading out through the last county on I95.

I pay higher property taxes since Ehrlich took office. He may not of raised income taxes but he has raised about every other tax he could get away with. Fees is just another word for tax.

Ehrlich knew from the day he took office that he would face O'Malley this year and sitting here watching from a distance it looks like he has done everything he could to make O'Malley look bad from day one. If he is so worried about schools and special Ed why hasn't he taken over any of ours? I know they do not follow Federal guidelines on special education personally. I know we have failing schools and I know the high school s would rather have a student that is absent a lot quit so if doesn't affect there attendance rate. Baltimore's problems are the same problems we have state wide. Ehrlich can't blame O'Malley for those. Baltimore just has a bigger population in a concentrated area so it appears worse. At least O'Malley is trying to do something positive there. Sorry I am not a multi millionaire or a developer so I don't see Ehrlich doing much for me or those I know.

8. Stay home? I don't
think so. You are welcome to stay home if you want but I believe in exercising my right to vote and use it every election. It is not only a right but a responsibility. Staying home is not an option.

So are you going to through away your vote for Senate, Congress and any local elections because you don't like O'Malley and might not like Ehrlich? I doubt many on this board would think that staying home is an option when so much is at stake.

9. I loved it.
Ehrlich kept telling O'Malley that he didn't understand what he was talking about. He looked like a mercenary doofus.

And actually I like O'Malley too. As well as Mr. Brown.
