new student made internet ads on STEELE
The College Democrats of Maryland have produced a new youtube ad on the Maryland Senate race.

Here it is: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FKUGwBO9ftg (college affordability)

Here is one we did awhile back...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5RBzPBsv7NA (corruption, hypocrisy, etc.)

Democrats Martin O'Malley is attempting to unseat Republican Gov. Bob Ehrlich, and Ben Cardin is running for the open Senate seat in Maryland. Both races are VERY competitive. Despite being under the radar for some time, Michael Steele has a very real chance to capture our Senate seat. Though Cardin polls slightly above Steele, Steele retains a solid 42% and both Repulican and Democratic polls suggest from 9-10% of voters are still undecided. (There's a Green Party candidate in this race as well, he will certainly siphon many votes...) Steele needs to pull only 25% of the African American vote away from Democrats in Baltimore and in Prince George's County to win.

Young Republicans from PA and DC are planning large scale bus trips into Maryland this weekend and next. The GOP has abandoned statewide races in both PA and OH, but they are not giving up on Maryland.

Michael Steele is anti-choice (even in cases of rape/incest), pro-stay the course in Iraq, vetoed the minimum wage increase in Maryland, has caused the 45% increases in tuition, and has compared stem cell research to the holocaust... to learn more on Steele, here's a good website www.therealsteele.com

The Maryland College Democrats made some youtube ads on the Senate race, check 'em out here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FKUGwBO9ftg (college affordability)

Ben Cardin is a great candidate, and would make an excellent Senator- learn more about him at www.bencardin.com He's fought for affordable health care, better prescription drug prices, higher ethical standards for Congress, a higher minimum wage, he was one of the few to vote against the Iraq War, and has distinguished himself as a moderate who can get things done no matter the political climate on the Hill...

If you would like to join COLLEGE DEMOCRAT GOTV Efforts, please contact me now!

We're canvassing tomorrow morning in Prince George's County at 11:00 am. Then, at 3:00pm, we will be joining Mayor Martin O'Malley at the Univ of Maryland College Park to tailgate before the game. Wear black!

There are lots more opportunities, my e-mail is lhfang@gmail.com

Go to www.bencardin.com to contribute and sign up for other volunteer activities.

If you are in the DC-Metro area, call 301 306 4411 to get signed up to begin canvassing
