11. Let me know how it goes.
Especially let me know how people react towards Martin. He NEEDS to win this election.

13. It went great!
It's very late so I'll be brief.

They all gave very good speeches which were motivating.
The crowd was FIRED UP! I hope there are videos.

I have an even better impression of Martin after hearing him speak.

There's going to be a rally in Baltimore tomorrow night.
I don't know if President Clinton will be there.

5. I sure hope O'Malley wins!
Being that I'm in Texas, I don't know anything about him but my friend that is a republican in Maryland does not like O'Malley. Everytime we talk politics and she mentions the governor's race, she always refer to him as nasty. I say why do you say that? She says because he's mean and doesn't smile. :eyes:

7. He's mean? He doesn't smile?
I guess it's hard to hold a thoughtful conversation with your friend. Anyway, O'Malley was in a band for a long time and has lots of charisma IMO. Erhlich, on the other hand, is a Bush clone. Some people think he's a good ole boy like Bush, but I think he's just a corporate tool. Of course, so is Bush. If your friend wants someone who will help out the rich, then she should vote for Erhlich. If she's middle class, then she should go with O'Malley.

12. Erhlich has really bad hair.
I base my vote on who has the best hair.

9. Why Not Earlier???
I'd have gone to the rally tonight, but it's so frickin' LATE! Why does it have to be at 9 PM, because of Big Dawg's schedule? If I hadn't have been off two days from work with this upper respiratory infection, I'd go and call off work tomorrow morning.

17. I got my call from Bubba the day before the election. My district...
is HEAVILY Democratic, so, we were probably a low priority.

Hard to say. It's always good to get a call from Bubba!

18. Yeah, I got the same one.
I'm in Montgomery County, so GOTV calls from the Big Dog are like carrying coals to Newcastle, but I didn't mind at all.

By the way, some years the GOP has actually phoned me, even though I'm a Democratic volunteer. I came home in 2004 to a message from Jack Kemp and some other Republican (I forget who).

22. Yeah, crazy Roscoe Bartlett is coming back to Congress!
My REPUBLICAN friend, who's a veteran to the bargain, can't stand having Roscoe Bartlett as his representative. I'm sorry Andrew Duck couldn't pull off a victory in that district.

We all have our burdens to bear.
