I got a late start this morning on the way to work and decided to stop in Downtown Silver Spring to pick up a cup of coffee. As I parked, I was startled by all the Ehrlich bumperstickers and wondered what the hell is going on in my hometown. I thought that this liberal bastion was suddenly turning wingnut. As I emerged from the parking deck, my questions were answered.
Maybe about 50 people--mostly old, nearly ALL white, except for the black teenager who was strategically placed in the front and a younger, black woman holding up a pro-Republican sign. Ehrlich was there, too, "teabagging" about big government and Obama's socialism.
Just wanted to let everyone know.
I pray to God that Ehrlich's stinch doesn't pollute the governor's seat this coming fall.
