Question for Marylanders ... how do i fact-check this? I don't know much about state politics. Any tips?

Here's the text that rolls on the screen:

But YOU have the Power to Stop It

On September 14th Vote for ...

1.  Ehrlich is on there? The man that raised
property taxes, doubled every fee he could find and even made new ones all while still leaving a 150 million dollar structural deficit?

Hard to fact check something that doesn't exist. O'Malley already answer Ehrlich accusation. Beyond that look at what bills are up for consideration, read the news, delve deeper and remember when you renew your vehicle registration that Ehrlich doubled the fee. Go back to old newspapers, look for the fees, taxes etc. and look for all the public lands Ehrlich tried to give to developers. Then look for the rest of them though if they stand with the whiner not much recommends them to me. Oh, don't forget to look up slots and Ehrlich, how he was for them before he was against them and god forbid Maryland voters be allowed to decide.

This state elects Ehrlich I'm moving. I can't do another 4 years of him on the TV whining that they won't do it his way all the time and he can't have it all the way he wants it.
