Stink Bugs, ground zero is Washington County!
fyi, they come inside for warmth, but don't nest/procreate inside; will only do so next spring, outside. They've already done some harm to agriculture here.

(Heard on MPT.)

1. I'm seeing a lot of them in PG County recently,
and they're annoying as anything! I'm glad (in a sense) that it's getting cooler so they won't be coming in my building anytime soon!

2. Catastrophe of epic proportions
is how I've seen the threat of stink bugs described by entomologists as their numbers increase and the damage that they will eventually cause to agriculture.

They already damage fruits and vegetables and they seem impervious to control which means their numbers will increase exponentially. They are far more than a nuisance and the individual insects live for years. Another great benefit that Clinton's most favored nation status for China provided us.

3. Early January, and they are still alive in HoCo. When we had the
temps just over 40 a few days ago, they started coming back to life.
