Who are you supporting for Meehan's seat?

I need to do some more research but right now I'm leaning towards either Eldridge or Tsongas. Eldridge is pro-impeachment, Tsongas is not. Eldridge is for immediate withdrawal from Iraq, Tsongas is for a timetable.

Who is your candidate and why?

1. Eldridge is the PDA endorsed candidate

PDA says:

Eldridge is a movement progressive committed to:

*** ending the Iraq occupation.
*** HR 676, single-payer nonprofit National Health Insurance.
*** fair trade, not corporate-drafted “free trade” treaties.
*** clean, transparent elections.
*** aggressive investigation/accountability of the imperial White House.

I always like Paul Tsongas. Truthfully, I don't know much about his wife. As PDA said:

What we must learn from the failure of leadership in Congress is that a transformation of the Democratic Party will be needed to end an imperial foreign policy and foster social and environmental justice in our country. It requires that the party base and the movements that animate that base elect Members of Congress who come out of these movements. <skip>

A Democratic majority in Congress is not enough. We need a PROGRESSIVE MAJORITY.

2. Barney Frank just endorsed Tsongas, but I am leaning towards

Eldridge.
